Joe Liang is a data scientist, student researcher , and currently master student in the University of Toronto.
Skill: Specializing in data analytics and machine learning, information retrieval, temporal clustering, and recommender systems. With a solid foundation in statistical analysis and proficiency in Python, SQL, and key data analytics and machine learning libraries, Joe bring a wealth of experience from both academic research and industry.
Education: Currently pursuing Master of Applied Science, with research focus on Temporal Clustering and its applications in sociology at University of Toronto D3M Lab supervised by Prof. Scott Sanner and Prof. Ethan Fosse. Joe graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics.
Experience: My professional journey includes roles as a Data Analyst at School Education and an Associate Software Engineer at Infosys Canada, where Joe streamlined workflows and developed tailored solutions.
